Spiritual
Development - to focus
the heart of the believer, assisting them to experience
God's love for them and His desire to have a deeper personal
relationship with them. (Proverbs 20:5)
Partnership
- to strive to develop
long-term relationships with churches, by providing encouragement,
and support that will assist them in the development of
retreats to meet the needs of their membership. (Philippians
1:3-6) Our ultimate purpose in all our retreats and
training is the spiritual development of the partnering
ministries' members.
Leadership
Training - to provide training
and resources, equipping others to lead and maintain experiential
retreats.
We
believe that God the Father has initiated, designed and
affirmed the vision for The Potter's Wheel. Thus,
everything we do and say should be a reflection of Him
and give Him honor. Therefore:
We
pursue parnership (seeking agreement
and common good) with God (John 15), churches and our
support team. (Philippians 1:3-6) Our relationships are
based on grace, honesty and openness.
We
seek to encourage all with whom
we partner to become all that God desires them to be.
We are committed to using our words to strengthen and
give life to our partners. (Ephesians 4:29)
We
are committed to being faithful stewards
of what God provides this ministry; time, finances and
abilities. We will continually seek His will in the use
of what He provides. (Ephesians 5:15-17, 1 Timothy 6:20a)
We
value family; our personal families,
our church family and the family of God by extending grace,
resolving conflicts and taking time to rest and be still
before God our Father. (1 Timothy 5:8)
