About JoeJoe is passionate about helping others go deep in their relationship with Jesus. He has an unique gift of communication that makes it engaging and fun to learn about the deeper truths of God’s love. Joe's teachings empower believers by helping them understand and live out their true identity in Christ.
Joe served as a pastor for 14 years at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY, before beginning The Potter's Wheel. The last 5 years, he served as the Spiritual Life Minister for Southeast Christian Church with an emphasis on spiritual development through retreats and prayer. He has led and developed teaching methods for dozens of retreats including spiritual renewal retreats, silent retreats, father-son rite of passage retreats, marriage retreats, prayer journeys and single adult retreats. Joe has a B.S. from the University of Kentucky, a B.A. in Bible and Christian Education from Johnson Bible College, Knoxville, TN, and a M.A. in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA. Joe loves being a husband and father. He is married to Pam and they have two children, Drew and Callie. Joe currently teaches men's Saturday Morning Bible Study at Southeast Christian Church. He also teaches Great Adventure Weekend Group Bible Study. |
