About the Saturday Morning Bible Study |

On February 9, 1991 Bob Russell started a Saturday morning Bible study for men at the request of Cecil McGee. Bob thought it would last about a month, Cecil had bigger dreams. From that first Saturday in 1991 until today, hundreds of men have gathered on Saturday mornings at 7am for coffee, doughnuts and verse by verse expositional Bible Study.
Since 2006 Joe Donaldson has served as the primary teacher for this study. The group meets in the round and there is a great deal of audience participation which is a hallmark of Joe’s teaching style. The group also donates on average $7,000/year to local ministries. Today you will find the group meeting in the lower Fellowship Hall of Southeast Christian Church every Saturday morning from mid August until Memorial Day. There is no registration required.
